You take care of everyone. But who takes care of you?

For most of my life, I’ve been a caregiver — as a nurse, a mom, and now a grammy.
Caring for others has always come naturally to me. What didn’t come naturally was caring for myself.

There were days when I felt so overwhelmed that I had to lock myself in my room just to breathe — to find a few quiet moments away from the noise, the needs, and the never-ending giving.
And I felt guilty for it.

But through years of learning (and a few moments of burnout), I discovered something I wish I’d known earlier:
Taking time for yourself isn’t selfish — it’s essential.
It’s the only way to refill your cup so you can keep giving from a place of calm and strength.

The Heart Behind Caring with Karen

I created Caring with Karen as a space for caregivers, nurses, and busy humans to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with themselves — without guilt or apology.

In our sessions, we focus on:
🌿 Finding calm in the middle of chaos
💬 Learning gentle ways to manage stress and emotions
🕯️ Creating realistic rituals that bring peace and balance back into your days

This is coaching that feels like exhaling — practical, nurturing, and real.

If you’ve been giving from an empty cup, I’d love to help you find your way back to balance.

I’m offering a few free “Reset Calls” each month — a calm, supportive space to pause, reflect, and begin refilling your own cup.
