No Professional Relationship

Participation in coaching sessions does not establish a medical, counseling, or legal relationship. My role is to provide encouragement, resources, and strategies to help you navigate caregiving and personal growth, not to diagnose, treat, or provide therapy.

Individual Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the choices, actions, and outcomes that result from our sessions. Coaching is designed to empower and support you, but results are not guaranteed. Always use your own judgment and consult qualified professionals as needed.

Confidentiality and HIPAA

I respect your privacy and treat all information shared in coaching sessions with care. However, Caring with Karen is not a covered entity under HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and therefore I cannot guarantee HIPAA-level confidentiality of electronic communications. Please avoid sharing private health records, protected health information (PHI), or sensitive details that should be handled by licensed healthcare providers.

Emergencies

If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, call 911 immediately. Coaching is not designed to address crisis situations. Please seek help from licensed professionals or emergency services if you are in immediate danger or distress.

No Guarantees

While every effort is made to provide accurate information and helpful resources, I cannot guarantee outcomes. Coaching is a collaborative process, and your progress depends on your personal commitment and circumstances.
